Cooking sunshine

Cooking sunshine is an ongoing collaborative project with Visual artist Mina Nasr. The project comprises an artist cookbook, which we have released the first edition of in 2023. A solar cooking installation/device, and a series of communal meals for  the public.  The artist cookbook contains recipes that are cooked with the help of the sun, whether dried or fermented.

In winter 2022 we stayed in Aswan, Egypt and worked with the community around Fekra cultural center, where we learnt some recipes, built our solar installation and cooked with and for the public.
